Many congratulations to Escapee Charlotte Valder who has joined Industrial Light and Magic (ILM), one of the world’s leading VFX companies, as a compositor.
Charlotte took our undergraduate course in the Art of Visual Effects, specialising in 2D Compositing in Nuke, an area of visual effects in great demand in industry.
While at Escape Studios, Charlotte contributed her skills to a number of projects, including the award-winning “Slushy”, which has won many festival prizes.
Slushy
Slushy was created as part of a Studio Project in which our animation and vfx students join forces to create a short film, mirroring as closely as possible the workings of an actual animation and vfx studio. Slushy has won many festival awards.
