On Monday 24 April 2023 from 10am until 4pm we’re hosting an in-person 3D VFX Taster at our Central London Campus at 190 High Holborn, WC1. Taster days are a chance to find out more about the courses at Escape Studios, how they run – and get to know the tutors who teaches them.
Come along and learn the basics of 3D Modelling, how to create simple geometry, and make it look real.
Our tutor will provide an introduction to 3D VFX techniques such as creating simple geometry, UV’s, texturing, bump maps, lighting, animation, basic compositing and rendering, as well as an introduction to the CG pipeline.

Back in the early 2000s there were few places in the UK where students could learn the necessary skills to land that crucial first job in the industry. Our tutor will also introduce students to the range of career choices students can aim to specialise in. Right now the industry is very busy – with Escapees specialising in both 3D VFX and 2D Compositing being snapped up by the VFX industry, sometimes even before graduation.
