“VFX EDU” Starts on 21 February

“VFX EDU”, part of The VFX Festival 2023, takes place on Tuesday 21 February 2023 at our central London campus at 190 High Holborn, starting at 10am. 

VFX Festival EDU 2023 is aimed at school and college students under 18 years old who are interested in learning about a career in visual effects, animation, game art and motion graphics.

The VFX Festival EDU
The VFX Festival EDU (part of The VFX Festival 2023) will take place on Tuesday 21st February 2023 as a hybrid event at Escape Studios – and also live online.  The VFX Festival EDU is tailored to school and college students (under 18 years old), who wish to learn about the world of visual effects, animation, game art and motion graphics. 

What to expect?

Guests will experience talks and presentations from industry professionals, and will find out the latest industry news. Who is hiring, and for what positions? What skills are in demand, and how is technology changing what studios expect from graduates?  Hear careers tips and advice from artists, recruiters and talent managers, and find out how the industry is changing. 

Those who join us for the face-to-face event at Escape Studios will have the opportunity to meet and network with speakers, artists, recruiters, talent managers and other guests. 

There will be breaks between sessions and also a lunch break.

In 2023, the VFX Festival will be a hybrid, hosted at Escape Studios’ central London campus for a limited number of attendees and streamed live online to provide access for a global audience.
