VFX Festival – Last Day Today

Today’s industry guests include ILM, Union FX, Creative Assembly, The Mill, Untold, Time Based Arts, Electric Theatre Collective, Epic Games, Blue Zoo, The Third Floor and DNEG.  

The VFX Festival 2023 showcases animation, games, motion graphics and visual effects, with speakers from our industry partners such as DNEG, Industrial Light & Magic, IMG VFX, Rare and Blue Zoo.  

 

Engagement with industry is at the heart of everything we do at Escape Studios.  Like last year, the 2023 VFX Festival is a hybrid event, both online and also in person.  

 

Today’s event was introduced by the Principal of Escape Studios: Ian Palmer.

 

VFX Festival – Emerging Talent

Today the VFX Festival focuses on “Emerging Talent” – aimed at students currently studying within Higher or Further Education.  What careers are open to school leavers and graduates? 

 

“Join The Zoo” at 3.30pm

Today’s lineup includes our friends from Blue Zoo, one of London’s leading animation companies. Blue Zoo recruiters Katie Slack and Lauren Deakin will be talking to animators on what Blue Zoo is looking for in an animation demo reel, and how animation graduates can break into the industry.
