Meet Your Tutors: VFX Producer Martin Gabriel teaches our evening class in Producing for Visual Effects. Martin has worked in VFX for over twenty years, first as a VFX Coordinator and then as VFX Producer in London, Hollywood and in multiple international locations.
Martin has experience of the process of VFX in film-making from pre-production to post, in film, television and commercials. Martin’s many movie credits include X-Men, Harry Potter, King Arthur and Tomb Raider.
Facility Management
Martin has also helped to create facility wide information systems to manage the flow of data. Although he has mostly worked on large budget Hollywood projects, Martin has also worked on many smaller, independent films.
Producing Animation
Our evening class in Producing for VFX returns on 31 October 2023. Producing for VFX is an eight week evening class, taught two nights a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7-10pm). Producing for VFX is designed to give students a thorough understanding of how the VFX production pipeline works, and how to apply it in practice. What does a VFX Producer actually do? Students learn the full ecosystem of VFX production, taught by veteran VFX producer Martin Gabriel.
